Baby I need a friend, but I'm a vampire smile, you'll meet a sticky end / OOTD ft. the tweed

Hey everyone!
I hope you've all had a nice half term and are spending today mentally preparing for college tomorrow... I know that's what I'm doing.
My lovely boyfriend, Jake has lent me his tweed jacket for a few days, so I thought I'd take the opportunity to include it in a blog post. It is honestly the warmest jacket in the world and I think I'm going to have to scramble through the vintage and charity shops for one of my own because I've fallen in love with it a bit!
Here, II have teamed it with these new slim leg check trousers that I also really love, a plain black strap top, frilly socks and chelsea boots to create a sort of androgynous look. To give the outfit more of a feminine touch I added some pretty earings, rolled my hair into an up-do and put on some berry lipstick.
I'm really liking mixing boyish style trousers and jackets with more feminine items at the moment, which I think is something a lot of people are too scared to try, but I honestly can say that if it suits you, it's definitely worth it! So be brave, try someone different and go steal your brother/dad/boyfriends clothes!

What I'm wearing:
Tweed Jacket- Vintage
Black strap top- Primark
Check slim fit trousers- New Look
Frilly flower socks- Primark
Black chelsea boots- tReds
Earings- New Look
Lipstick is by PΓΌr minerals in the shade Dark Amethyst

Thank you for reading, see you next week for more style posts! X

And there's no remedy for memory / Lana Del Rey inspired make-up

Hey everybody!
I do apologise for the ridiculous amount of time since my last post, I've been getting distracted by various other things. It's been half-term this week, so I've had no college which has been a relief, although it has gone much to fast for my liking!
If you know me well, you'll know I have a slight obsession with the somewhat controversial Lana Del Rey; her voice, her music, her face... just everything! Over a year ago, I did a post on her inspired by the music video for Young and Beautiful and I wanted to do another one inspired by her most recent album and style.
Near the end of 2014 she did a photo shoot for Galore magazine photographed by her boyfriend Francesco Carrozzini, which I think just captured her glamour and beauty to perfection. I have attempted to recreate the make-up she was wearing for this shoot which was quite heavy liner and lashes, contoured cheeks and a beige nude lip.

Thankyou very much for reading! Look out for next weeks post X

Lipstick Covered Magnet / Male-up look & my favourite songs

Hey everyone!
I hope you've had a good week, mines been somewhat a mixture of absolutely awful, yet productive!
Today I have a bit of a different post, featuring a make-up look and a playlist of my current favourite songs! Seeming as I love music and am listening to it 90% of the time, I thought it'd be nice to incorporate it into my blog posts as well. So, I have put together a little playlist- which ended up a lot longer than originally planned- for you to check out. I love discovering new artists, so any suggestions would great!
I also created a make-up look today including my favourite lip product from Maybelline, the Colour Drama lip crayon in Keep it classy, I also have this product in the shade Berry Much' which I am also a bit obsessed with. I teamed this dusty pink shade with my usual eye flick and neutral eye shadow and added some false lashes for a more exaggerated look.

Products I Used:
Maybelline Color Drama lip crayon- Keep it Classy
L'oreal Super liner
Maybelline 'the falsies' mascara
Sleek eyebrow kit- Dark
E.L.F maximum coverage concealer- porcelain
Rimmel lasting finish powder foundation- Soft Beige
