Hey Everyone! Today I have a post on the new lipstick trends for Spring/Summer, so here it is! Orange vs Pink, which would you choose?
Perhaps the most talked about and 'hyped' up makeup trend for Spring/Summer "14 is orange lips! They made a brief appearance in last years trends, but this year they're going all out!
I personally think it can really work if you team it with quite natural makeup and I prefer the redder shades of orange, instead of the very bright and vibrant oranges that have been worn on the catwalk.If you don't think you could brave bright orange, you can always go for a peach or coral colored lipstick or gloss.
Another lip colour, which hasn't been seen as much on the catwalk, but it's one I think is really nice for Spring and that is pink!
This is another colour which you have to be quite careful with in order to not end up looking like Barbie,but if you get it right, I think it can look really fresh and pretty.
Products I used
Top Photo: Fearne Lip crayon (not sure of name) and Max factor colour effect flipstick (30 gypsy red).
Middle Photo: Maybelline Baby lips (peach kiss) and Benefit cha cha tint.
Bottom Photo: H&M velvet berry lip balm and Collection cream puff lip cream (1 cotton candy).
I really love all 3 of these lip colours but for everyday wear I think the coral/peach and the baby pink colours are perfect teamed with natural skin and winged liner.
