They judge me like a picture book by the colours, like they forgot to read| Autumnal vibes!

*Title: Lana Del Rey- Brooklyn Baby

Hey Everyone! It's been a little while since my last post
and so I thought I'd do a bit of an autumnal inspired post (it is autumn now right?) showing my favourite eye make-up, lipstick and blush for Autumn time.
I love to use warm, cranberry shades for my eyes and more red-tones blush, I think they compliment my olive skin tone when any signs of tanning from summer have disappeared. I am also especially loving dark purple lipsticks at the moment, but that may be a choice for the braver ones of you. I hope you enjoy! <3

GOSH velvet touch lipstick- 171 Twilight
Revlon Colourburst matte balm- 225 Sultry

Sleek blush- 935 Flushed

Maybelline Colour tattoo 24hr eye shadow- 70 Metallic pomegranate
Bourjois Colour Edition eye shadow- 6902

Fluffy jumper- Primark

Thank you for reading, let me know you're favourite things about autumn! x

I'm going back to 505 | OOTD

*Title:Arctic Monkeys- 505

Hey Everyone!
It's gotten to that awkward time of year where you never know if it's going to be hot, cold or inbetween. On the bus on the way to college in the mornings I am always freezing, but by lunch time I'm boiling! It's so annoying, I wish it would just get cold already!
Today just so happened to be a fairly warm day so shorts are still acceptable attire. These ones are new from Forever 21 and I really like them. They're both comfy and look great with so many pieces! The cherry bag featured here is also new and I love it so much! It's the perfect size and is super cute.
I hope you like this look, it's a bit of a miss mash of grunge and rockabilly I would say, which are two of my favourite looks.

What I'm Wearing:
- Vintage over-sized denim jacket (Ebay)
- Collar crop top (Topshop)
 - Corduroy shorts (Forever 21)
- Knee- high socks (Ebay)
- Cherry shoulder bag (Pin-up Boutique)
- Spotty head band (Home made)
- Oscar the cat looking cute

My Inspirations | People

Hey everyone!
So today I've put together a top 5 list of people who are my biggest style inspirations. I don't copy absolutely everything these people wear, I just take bits and pieces of their styles and make it into my own.
I feel that I have a bit of a divide in my style depending on what mood I'm in- sometimes I like to wear more vintage and retro inspired clothes, accessories and hair, but I also wear a lot of grunge and 90's inspired stuff. The people I've featured in hear are a bit of a mixture between both and I also have a male thrown in there, because sometimes guys dress better than girls to be honest!
I hope you enjoy and can take a little something to incorporate into your personal style.

Audrey Hepburn
Audrey Hepburn is someone who I've admired for a very long time now. I think she is just the definition of class, simplicity and elegance. She could wear some black capri pants and a stripy top and still look wonderful! I've always loved how despite not having the 'desired' hourglass body of the 50's, she still embraced the signature styles of that time.

Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift is someone I find hard to write about because I really dislike her music, but I think she has amazing style. She manages to recreate vintage shapes and patterns and make them look new and fresh.
A while back now, I remember her still being very country when it came to what she wore and her music, but these days she has the perfect mix of curled hair, red lips, polka dots and floral patterns.

Sky Ferreira
Sky Ferriera's style is simply 90's grunge. She typically wears a lot of black, stripes, band t-shirts, lace up boots and distressed denim. I think she always looks very cool and effortless. I take inspiration from her on days that I don't really want/need to make too much effort, but still make it interesting.

 Zoe Kravtiz
I think I would have to say as of recently, Zoe Kravitz has been one of my favourite style inspirations. Some people refer to her style as messy and 'trashy' but I really think she wears everything effortlessly and classy. She wears a lot of leather, denim, ankle socks, round sunnies and baggy shift dresses. Everything she wears suits her so much and has quite a grunge/punk vibe, but always very put together. She also has amazing make-up, awesome hair and tattoos!

My last, but not least inspiration is Matty Healy, leader singer from the 1975. I personally think everyone should dress a bit more like Matty. Think black, leather jackets, ripped skinny jeans and more black! You should also check out their music, I've had it on repeat all summer.

Thank you for reading! Have a lovely day/evening! <3

My Inspiration | Books

"To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong." Joseph Chilton Pierce

Hey everyone! I've decided to do a little series on my blog of all the different ways I find my personal style inspiration and ideas. I'm starting with books because I think they can often get forgotten inbetween all the many style blogs', pinterests' and tumblrs', when in fact they are one of the greatest ways of sourcing inspiration.
I've loved books ever since I can remember and I don't think that will ever go away, no matter how advanced technology gets.
So, here are five of my favourite style books, from street style to the elegance of Audrey Hepburn. I highly recommend any of these if you're looking for something a bit different to conjure up your ideas and thoughts when it comes to your personal style!

Thank you for reading. Just to note, this wasn't supposed to be a book review, hence I haven't given any description, but I have given the amazon link for all of them, where you can read many reviews from various people who have also read these books.
Have a wonderful day <3

They say it changes when the sun goes down | OOTD

Hey everyone!
The wonderful world of the internet is currently full of 'oh my god, can't believe it's September!' and teenagers realising they need to start adjusting their sleeping patterns. So I apologise for me saying that I too can't believe it's September again, it doesn't feel that long ago that I was starting year 11 and my GCSE's! Like many other young people, this year is one of change, anxiety and hopefully excitement. It's a time to let go of all those tragic years of secondary school, being told what to do, what to wear and how to think.
I'm starting my first day of college tomorrow doing a Creative Media Extended Diploma (Level 3). After having a not so typical education over the last few years, I'm both excited and terrified to see what's lined up for me over the next 2 years!
Yesterday happened to be a beauty of a day, so I decided to take some photos whilst in Mousehole by the sea, to soak in the last of this years warmth. I have to say Autumn and Winter are my favourite anyway and I'm extremely glad that summer is practically over.
I hope you like this outfit and photos, I'm wearing my new retro style shirt from boohoo.com which I absolutely love and I feel has a bit of a 50's vibe.

What I'm wearing: Pink and white gingham crop shirt-www.boohoo.com
Grey jeggings- www.hm.com/gb/
T-bar dolly shoes- www.newlook.com
Pearl necklace- vintage

Thank you for reading & good luck in whatever you've decided upon this year! <3
